Deleting Your Account

At Masasouq, we respect your privacy and give you full control over your personal information. If you wish to delete your account, please review the following guidelines and steps.

1. Important Considerations Before Deleting

Before proceeding, please note:

  • Account deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed.

  • All order history, saved addresses, and preferences will be permanently removed.

  • Any active orders or refund requests must be completed before the account can be deleted.

  • Deleting your account does not automatically cancel any existing orders.

2. How to Request Account Deletion

To delete your Masasouq account:

  1. Send a written request from your registered email address to privacy@masasouq.com

  2. Include your full name, registered phone number, and the reason for deletion (optional)

  3. Our privacy team will verify your identity for security purposes

  4. Once confirmed, your account will be permanently deleted within 5 business days

3. After Deletion

  • You will receive a confirmation email once your request is complete.

  • You will no longer be able to log in or access your previous order history.

  • If you wish to shop again in the future, you will need to create a new account.

4. Data Retention for Legal Compliance

Certain transactional data may be retained securely for a limited period as required by local laws (e.g., for accounting or legal obligations). This data will not be used for marketing or profiling purposes.
